Welcome to Paices Wood Country Parkland, in the conservation village of Aldermaston, Berkshire.
Privately owned by Young Estates & Land Ltd and managed in agreement with West Berkshire Council, Paices Wood Country Parkland is a wildlife haven and recreational retreat. This 35 hectare (86.5 acre) former gravel extraction site consists of extensive woodland, grassland and several lakes located in a narrow valley just outside Aldermaston.
This is private land, however, visitors are welcome. Please keep your dogs under control, take all litter home and observe any local restrictions. (See Notice Board in Main Car Park).
Vehicles must be parked in venue car parks only. No vehicle to be parked in surrounding areas. Vehicles are left entirely at the owner's risk. We accept no responsibility for any loss, or theft of personal items.
Paices Wood is a tranquil haven with some beautiful walks. It's a lovely place to walk off the Sunday roast or have a picnic with the family.

Paices Wood Country Parkland is one of my favourite local beauty spots. I regularly walk the dogs and enjoy family picnics in the beautiful surroundings of the parkland. The children particularly enjoy spotting the fish and abundance of wildlife in the lakes.
